Audrey M. Sample-Mercado –

Veterinary Assistant

Audrey is a sophomore at Conifer High School with deep roots in Colorado, born in Englewood and thrilled to be back in the mountain community of Park County.

She has been assisting Dr. Mercado since she was old enough to safely hold an animal, developing a lifelong love for veterinary care.

Outside of work, Audrey enjoys spending time with her cat, Avery, painting, drawing, and writing. She also pursues her passions for wrestling—where she proudly earned a gold medal in the 2025 Warrior Championship—and writing.

Looking ahead, she plans to serve her country by enlisting in the Air Force and pursuing a career in criminal investigation.

Until then, Audrey is grateful to be part of the Bailey Caring Mobile Vet team, helping to care for animals and serving her local community while making the most of her high school years.
